The Pink Shell has proposed building on a bayside lot that they own. They had originally proposed a large expansion on top of a parking garage, claiming the parking garage as a Public Benefit, but are now proposing a 40 room expansion of their hotel on the bayside lot. Some who were involved in their original expansion claim that they used their development rights on the bayside lot by transferring them to their beachside hotel expansion years ago. This means they no longer have any development rights on that lot, but the Pink Shell seems to be refuting that claim.
This latest expansion passed 4-0 on Town Council with Mayor Dan Allers recusing.
